I am a full-time wedding professional with access to two wedding venues that are under my personal management. These two venues are Belmont Mansion and Eastland Baptist Church. I have specific elopement packages at both of these venues that include both my services as the officiant and the use of the venue. To learn more about these pre-packaged options, click on Eastland to see my church elopement option or click on Belmont to see my mansion elopement options.

I do not limit my officiating work to my two venues. I have officiated elopements in private residences, public parks and some churches. I have worked with over 60 public venues and many of them would welcome an elopement ceremony. We can do your elopement at Belmont Mansion in our Grand Salon, in one of our garden gazebos or even in my office. We can do your elopement in your home or if you are from out of town, we could do it in a private space in your hotel. I married one couple under a tree in Centennial Park and I married another couple in the courtyard in front of the Grand Ole Opry House. I have married several couples in their own homes or in their parents’ homes.

There are factors to consider when choosing an ideal location for an elopement ceremony. Some venues do have rules about wedding ceremonies and fees for using their facilities. If you plan to have a brief, simple, stand-up ceremony with only bride, groom, witness and officiant, then you may be able to have your choice of public locations, provided you do not impede the normal activities that go on there. If, however, you want to have music, professional photography or seating… or if you want to be sure that your ceremony is not intruded upon by the public or by the owners/managers of your chosen location, then you’ll want to make proper arrangements to reserve and rent a venue or use a private residence. I will be happy to give more specific guidance in selecting an appropriate location/venue for your elopement ceremony.

There are several rental venues in addition to my own that you might consider for an elopement ceremony including Events at 1418 www.MainEventPro.com, The Ambrose House www.EventsNashville.net, Legacy Farms www.LegacyFarmsTN.com, just to name a few.

Since I am a full time wedding professional I am available to meet with my couples and my vendors-and do elopement weddings- almost any time of the day or night, provided I’m not with another couple. I do not require premarital counseling unless you chose to marry at Eastland Baptist Church. Unless I am out of town or otherwise booked, I can marry a couple with very little notice. The shortest notice I have ever had was 45 minutes. The next shortest notice was 90 minutes. Even in situations where a couple wants to marry and I am out of town or otherwise unavailable, I have several ministers in my organization who officiate weddings for me.

To schedule a time and location for your elopement you should call or email me to work out the details. I do not encourage any couple to show up at my office without an appointment. Due to the nature of my work, I  do not keep traditional office hours so a phone call or email is a must!
